Karate-Jutsu

Karate-jutsu is an effective self-defense style of karate. It is translated from Japanese as "the art of karate" and more specifically, as an applied art, skill or technique. Karate-jutsu was developed long before other styles appeared and is one of the first and most important ones. Technically, karate-jutsu is a complex of shock-throwing techniques that combine punches, throws, wrestling, suffocating and painful techniques into a single whole. This combination as well as the presence of weapons training all taken together make karate-jutsu an effective universal system for achieving the main goal - to increase the chances of victory in a real-life street fight regardless of the opponent's skills and build.

Shotokan

Shotokan is a first sports style of karate-do, created in 1936 by the outstanding Okinawan master Gichin Funakoshi - a higly educated person, philologist and poet. It was the pseudonym "Shoto" that Funakoshi used in his literary work that served as the basis for the name of his style "Shotokan", which means "Society of the Shoto". Shotokan is the style for which Japan's first public karate organization, the Japanese Karate Association (JKA), called the "Academy of Shotokan", was established in 1949.

Kissaki-Kai

Kissaki-Kai Karate was founded in March 1993 by the outstanding master Vince Morris (currently 9th Dan), a former British, European and World champion in kumite and kata, a senior instructor at the Antwerp Police Academy, who together with a group of black belts decided to abandon the sports aspect and focus exclusively on effective self-defense techniques. "Kissaki" is the very edge of the blade, tempered, extremely durable and unsurpassed in sharpening. The philosophy of Kissaki-Kai is that every follower of the style should be like this point, repeatedly tempered, becoming hard and durable, able to stop any offence and attack like a strike of the sword.

A swirl of white jackets!
